Open Studio

What is Open Studio?

• It allows adult students and artists to use the space either to work on their own projects and / or to improve their skills (assuming they are able to work independently. 

• The open studio hours will always be monitored by at least one of our instructors. The users will be able to use our equipment (wheels, slab roller, extruder), glazes and firings. Extra clay and glaze prices will vary depending on use.

• Who can work during open studio: Those with basic pottery or sculpting skill level (required to be verified by our staff) that are able to use the studio independently. If you do not have enough experience to qualify, it can be acquired by attending one of our pottery classes or by taking a series (minimum of five) of private lessons.

(1-2 Open Studio hours are included with ceramic classes so they have outside time to glaze or finish pieces if necessary.)

Open Studio Prices:
$20 per hour minimum of 4 to 10 hours
$18 per hour for 10+ hours
$16 per hour for 20+ hours


Includes:

• Firing
  
• 25 lb bag of clay to start (extra clay will cost depending on type of clay, Special order clay is not included must pay separately)
  
• Glazes (Special order glazes not included,  must pay separately)
  
• Access to all equipment
  
• Flexible Schedule
